Editorial review policy

How we review and compare operators

A consistent method keeps the comparison fair. Here is exactly what we look at and how each editorial score is formed.

How we approach a review

We treat each brand the way a new customer would. We register, work through verification, browse the lobby, look at the cashier and read the promotional terms. Where possible we test the same tasks on desktop and mobile so the comparison reflects real use rather than a marketing page.

The points we assess

  • Offer clarity. Are promotions explained plainly, with wagering, expiry and game weighting easy to find before you opt in?
  • Site usability. How quickly can you find games, manage your account and reach the cashier without unnecessary friction?
  • Payments. What deposit and withdrawal methods are supported, and how realistic are the stated processing times?
  • Game range. Is the catalogue genuinely broad across slots, live dealer and table games, or thin in places?
  • Mobile experience. Does the site stay fast and usable on a phone, with key actions still working well?
  • Terms transparency. How openly are conditions presented, and how easy are they to read before committing?
  • Responsible gambling visibility. Are deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools easy to find and clearly signposted?

How the editorial score is formed

The score out of ten is our balanced summary of the points above. It is an editorial opinion meant for comparison — it is not an official rating, a regulatory measure or any kind of guarantee. We weight the factors that affect everyday use most, such as terms transparency, payments and usability. Scores are deliberately not uniform: a brand that does some things well and others poorly will sit lower than one that is consistently solid.

Independence and accuracy

Our editorial judgement is kept separate from any commercial relationship — see our Affiliate Disclosure. We aim to be balanced rather than promotional, and we'll note weaknesses as readily as strengths. We don't publish fabricated customer testimonials, invented review counts or guarantees about winnings, payouts or outcomes.

Updates and corrections

Operators change their offers, terms and features regularly, so a review is a snapshot in time. We revisit listings periodically, but the operator's own site is always the authoritative source. If you spot something out of date, please tell us via our contact page.
